Keeping an eye on local security is something we take quite seriously at Amalgamated Locksmith Reservoir. This is why our Reservoir locksmith always spends time analysing the latest crime stats in Reservoir to see what’s been happening in the suburb.
About Reservoir
Located within easy access to major freeways and the Melbourne airport, Reservoir is an older suburb that’s becoming popular for young families, who also appreciate the many public transport options available. This community-minded suburb has a mix of older and modern homes on generous blocks, as well as many townhouses.
For major shopping expeditions, Northland Shopping Centre is not that far away, plus there’s the Preston Market, which is the best place to get lovely fresh produce. For those who love an outdoor lifestyle, there are plenty of parks and open spaces. Right in the centre of the suburb is Edwardes Lake Park, which is popular with picnickers on the weekend, and then there’s Bundoora Park Farm, with a fenced off-lead dog park, which is just on the eastern boundary.
Soccer fans would be happy to know that the sports fields surrounding La Trobe University, also on the eastern border, are the home of the Matildas. Families are also well-catered for with a wide range of schools for all ages.
