Key Safes
Key safes are designed to protect keys and key cards. Key safes allow for spaces with multiple users to remain secure. Rather than all the users of a space, for example a community centre, having keys, users with access to the space are given a code to the key safe.
With house- and car-sharing becoming increasingly common, more people than ever are investing in key safes.
Security Functions
With a touchpoint OEM lock, the owner of a Kidde Key Safe can program and reprogram codes up to 10 digits long. Rather like a bike or suitcase lock, only much more secure, the touchpoint OEM lock requires neither batteries nor power source. All Kidde Key Safes use a clutch mechanism to open.

Kidde have been making fire safety devices, such as alarms and hydrants, since 1917. Originally from the US, Kidde have been operating in Australia for a number of years with their sister company, Chubb Security.
Platinum Collector Series Safes
The Kidde Key Safe Pro is a neat, compact key safe. It holds up to 7 keys.
Larger than its predecessors, the Kidde Key Safe Pro is able to hold key rings and keys with larger handles.
Its die-cast body makes it a seamless and secure safe for your keys and access cards. Rust-proof and weather-resistant, a key safe is also an excellent spare key solution to have on your property.
The Kidde Key Safe Pro is small and compact, designed to fit only a few keys and cards. It is 108mm tall, 83mm wide and 70mm deep. Its small dimensions make it easier for the Kidde Key Safe Pro to fit seamlessly into or above doors, walls, poles and vehicles.
The Kidde Key Safe Pro can be mounted on a wall using brackets. Alternatively, it can also be mounted flush in the wall or door, protected by a secure faceplate.
For automotive security, the Kidde Key Safe can be mounted on the underside of the chassis using brackets.
Double-walled, the Kidde Key Safe Pro is resistant to hammer attacks.
Kidde Slimline 2 Key Safe
The Kidde Slimline 2 Key Safe is Kidde’s original key safe. Tight and compact, it is designed to safely house 2 keys and no key cards.
Designed to fit 2 keys, the slimline model is well-named, measure 97mm tall, 57mm wide and 42mm deep.
The Slimline 2 Key is available in white, clay and titanium colours.
Using self-tapping screws (included), the Slimline is easily mounted to any flat surface. Because of its size and light weight, the Slimline 2 Key Safe can also be hung like a padlock.
The Kidde Slimline 2 Key Safe has programmable buttons, allowing users to create and reset codes of up to 10 digits long.
The Slimline 2 Key Safe has an interlocking faceplate to prevent the safe from being pried open.
Kidde C3 Key Safe Portable (Padlock style)
The Kidde C3 Key Safe Portable is designed to hang. Guaranteed never to rust, the C3 is protected using the same zinc alloy as the Slimline and the Pro. It can hold up to 3 keys inside its rubber jacket within the case.
The C3 Key Safe has a padlock arm that allows it to hang securely off of pipes, beams, bars and chains.
The Kidde C3 Key Safe measures 103mm tall, 84mm wide and 55mm deep. It fits up to 3 keys and is available in black and titanium colours.
The Kidde C3 Key Safe is portable and cannot be mounted. The padlock arm is lockable and can only be removed if the safe is open. When not required, the arm can be removed and the unit can act as a normal key safe above doors or windows.
